System 28 Welding Fixture Table

System 28: Refers to a standard table with a hole diameter of 28mm and a hole spacing of 100mm (diagonal grid), compatible with all 28mm clamps/modules, with a splicing accuracy of ≤0.1mm. This is Siegmund's classic industrial-grade platform standard.
3000×2000mm: Table dimensions. Common plate thickness is approximately 25mm, table height is approximately 200mm, and the overall weight is approximately 1800–2200kg.
Plasma Nitration: A surface hardening process that infuses nitrogen atoms into the surface layer of the steel, forming a high-hardness nitride layer (hardness HV 450–850, some models can reach HV 850). This improves wear resistance, corrosion resistance, resistance to welding slag adhesion, and deformation resistance, while maintaining long-term stability of the table's flatness.
| Tabletop dimensions | 3000×2000mm |
| Aperture size / Pitch (distance between holes) | Ø28mm / 100mm (diagonal grid) |
| Materials and processing | Through-hardened tool steel (X8.7/X8.8) + Plasma nitriding + BAR coating |
| Rated load capacity | Each module has a load capacity of 500 kg, and the overall uniform load capacity can reach 10–15 tons. |

Tabletop Structure
Five-sided machining (top surface + four side surfaces), with M12 threaded holes on the sides (200mm spacing) for mounting side clamps/extension modules. Diagonal grid hole pattern provides 33% more mounting points than traditional square grids, allowing for more flexible fixture layouts and accommodating complex workpiece positioning. Rounded corners + 8×45° chamfer design enhances operational safety and ease of installation.
-
Support and Adjustment
Optional height-adjustable feet (fine adjustment accuracy ±2mm) or swivel casters with brakes are available, adapting to fixed/mobile operation needs. Each leg supports approximately 2200 lbs (1000 kg), providing overall stable support and suppressing the impact of welding vibrations on accuracy.
-
Functional Expansion
Compatible with multiple processes such as MIG/TIG/arc welding, supporting integrated welding, assembly, and inspection operations. Optional slag collection tray, tool storage module, rotating workbench, etc., are available to adapt to different production processes.
-
Ultra-high surface hardness:
Surface hardness reaches HRC 60-70 (several times higher than ordinary steel plates), making it extremely wear-resistant and scratch-resistant. Repeated installation of fixtures will not damage the reference holes on the table surface.
-
Excellent anti-galling properties:
Prevents "cold welding" adhesion between metal workpieces and the table surface under high temperature or pressure.
-
Outstanding corrosion resistance:
Significantly improves rust resistance, suitable for humid or harsh workshop environments.
-
Enhanced fatigue resistance:
Increases the service life of the table under long-term heavy loads.
-
Minimal deformation:
The processing temperature is lower than the tempering temperature of steel, preventing thermal deformation of the table and perfectly maintaining its factory flatness.
-
Extremely Low Maintenance Costs
The plasma nitrided layer has a hardness of HV 450–850, providing resistance to welding slag adhesion, corrosion, and wear. Routine maintenance only requires cleaning slag from the surface; frequent grinding or re-coating of protective layers is unnecessary. The nitrided layer is tightly bonded to the base material, preventing peeling or flaking, thus avoiding damage to the surface that could affect positioning accuracy.
-
Extra-Long Service Life
The through-hardened tool steel base material combined with plasma nitriding treatment provides a service life of 10–20 years in heavy-duty industrial applications, far exceeding that of ordinary powder-coated welding tables (3–5 years). The rate of accuracy degradation is slow, and the surface flatness can be maintained at ≤0.1mm/m even after long-term use, significantly reducing the frequency of equipment replacement.
