1. Substrate and Pre-treatment
The main substrate material is Q355 low-alloy high-strength steel (some heavy-duty models use HT300 cast iron). After procurement, it undergoes overall annealing treatment (temperature approximately 800–850℃, followed by slow cooling after holding at temperature) to completely eliminate internal stresses from forging/rolling and prevent subsequent deformation;
Before processing, the substrate must undergo ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure there are no internal cracks, pores, or other defects.
2. Surface Plasma Nitriding Process
Process flow: The workpiece is placed in a nitriding furnace, and in a vacuum environment of 350–560℃, nitrogen/ammonia gas is introduced to allow nitrogen atoms to penetrate the steel surface, forming a 0.1–0.3mm thick nitrided layer;
Process advantages:
Hardness is increased to 450–850 Vickers (2–3 times that of ordinary steel), significantly enhancing resistance to welding slag abrasion;
The nitrided layer has high density, and the salt spray test can reach more than 500 hours (far exceeding the rust prevention capabilities of ordinary paint/galvanizing);
Excellent high-temperature resistance, the high temperature conducted by the workpiece during welding (≤480℃) will not cause surface oxidation or softening.
Automotive Manufacturing: Used for welding and positioning of automotive chassis subframes; multiple units can be combined to position multiple workpieces simultaneously, suitable for assembly line production;
Construction Machinery: Used for the assembly of excavator arms and crane structural components; the heavy-duty version (with a load capacity of 10 tons) can handle large workpieces;
Aerospace: Used for precision welding of satellite brackets and aircraft components; the positioning accuracy (±0.05mm) meets high-precision requirements;
Pressure Vessels: Used for welding of storage tanks and pipelines; the corrosion-resistant tabletop is suitable for the acidic and alkaline environments of the chemical industry.
