Our D28 3D Welding Table with High Precision Alignment is a heavy-duty five-sided modular fixturing table built for high-accuracy metal fabrication. Engineered with Φ28mm H7 holes on a 100 mm grid system, it delivers reliable repeatable alignment across X, Y and Z axes for complex welding assemblies.
Available in HT300 cast iron or Q355 steel, the table goes through full stress-relief aging and ion nitriding treatment to guarantee long-term flatness, wear resistance and anti-spatter performance. Fully compatible with standard D28 clamping accessories, it drastically cuts custom tooling lead-time for chassis, structural parts, railway components and robotic welding cells.

Two mainstream tabletop material options available:
- HT300 high-grade cast iron welding table: Impact-resistant and cost-effective; suitable for heavy-duty applications involving thick plates.
- Q355 (S355JR) high-strength alloy steel welding table: Offers superior rigidity, low internal stress, and minimal thermal deformation; suitable for high-precision batch welding; undergoes artificial aging for stress relief.
Surface treatment:
- Nitriding treatment: Hardness of HV550-900; provides wear resistance, resistance to weld spatter adhesion, and rust protection; custom high-hardness versions (HV870) available using mold steel.
- Integral stress-relief annealing + CNC precision milling/grinding: Eliminates machining stresses to ensure dimensional stability during long-term use.
- D28 standard heavy-duty leg: Static load capacity of 900-1,000 kg per leg; equipped with an M24 adjustable leveling foot allowing for a fine-adjustment range of ±15-20 mm.
- Leg spacing guidelines: One leg every 1,000-1,200 mm; for large tabletops, supports are mandatory at the four corners and the center—cantilevering is prohibited, as it leads to flatness deviations under heavy loads.
- Optional configuration: Mobile casters (lockable; suitable only for short-distance repositioning; load capacity is reduced; use on casters is not recommended for long-term, high-precision welding operations).
- Stress-relief treatment: Shot blasting is performed after rough machining to relieve internal stresses from casting or steel plate welding; untreated welding tables may warp slowly after a few months of use, resulting in a loss of flatness.
- Ion Plasma Nitriding:
- Nitriding hardness: HV550-900; versions with mold steel substrates can achieve HV870-900.
- Nitrided layer diffusion depth: 0.25-0.35 mm; compound layer: 8-20 μm; the inner walls of the holes are also nitrided, ensuring wear resistance and rust prevention during pin insertion and removal.
- Functions: Reduces weld spatter adhesion, improves wear resistance, and prevents rust; however, do not use an angle grinder to aggressively grind the table surface, as this will remove the nitrided layer and cause localized rusting and pitting.
- Inspection items: Flatness of the welding table surface and side faces; hole position coordinate tolerances; perpendicularity between the top surface and side faces; and actual bore diameter measurements (H7 tolerance class) for the holes.
- Inspection tools: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), granite straightedge, and dial indicator.
- Report content: A list of measurement data points at 1000mm intervals and actual deviation values (reporting actual measurements rather than merely listing theoretical specifications).
