Process Principle
In a low-temperature sealed furnace at 500-580°C, ammonia gas (NH₃) or nitrogen gas is introduced to decompose active nitrogen atoms [N], which penetrate into the surface layer of the steel (depth 0.2-0.5mm) and combine with iron/alloy elements to form high hardness nitride layers.
