Industrial Grade D28 Welding Table Offers Stable Surface and Anti Spatter Coating

Our Industrial Grade D28 Welding Table delivers a rigid, dimensionally stable working surface protected by a premium anti-spatter nitride coating. Built on the standard D28 modular 3D fixturing system with Φ28mm H7 precision holes on a 100mm grid, this heavy-duty welding platform is engineered for high-precision metal fabrication, manual welding and robotic welding cells. The stress-relieved thick tabletop maintains consistent flatness under heavy loads, while the hardened nitrided finish prevents weld spatter adhesion, scratches and corrosion. Fully compatible with the full range of D28 clamping accessories, it enables fast reconfiguration for frames, chassis, structural steel and custom assemblies. Multiple sizes are available, with 2D or 5-sided 3D construction optional.

Precision-reamed holes (Φ28mm, H7 tolerance) are arranged in a standard 100mm grid pattern.

• The hole walls are machined to a smooth finish with a tolerance of ±0.03–0.05mm, ensuring seamless insertion and removal of locating pins, high repeatability, and consistent dimensional accuracy even after repeated clamping cycles.
• Available in two configurations: a single-sided 2D tabletop (holes on the top surface only) or a five-sided 3D tabletop (holes on the top surface and all four vertical sides). The five-sided version allows for vertical mounting of fixtures, making it ideal for the 3D positioning of frames, enclosures and chassis.

All hole openings feature an R2–R3 chamfer.

• This prevents damage to quick-locking pins or clamps during installation, protects operators from sharp burrs, and helps prevent weld spatter from becoming lodged in the holes.

The sides of the tabletop are precision-milled to serve as reference edges, facilitating quick alignment with straight edges or right-angle positioning blocks to establish a datum for workpieces.

1. Artificial Aging for Stress Relief
   Following rough machining, the steel plate undergoes an aging process to release internal stresses induced during rolling and cutting.
   This prevents the welding table from warping or deforming under high temperatures during welding or long-term heavy-duty use, ensuring long-term flatness stability. In contrast, cheaper, non-aged tables often begin to bow or lose their required precision after just six months of service.
2. Integrated CNC Milling
   The entire plate is clamped and milled in a single CNC operation, ensuring a unified reference between the grid holes and the working surface — unlike methods that rely on simply grinding together separate, spliced sections.
3. Comprehensive Shot Blasting Pre-treatment
   Before nitriding, the surface is subjected to shot blasting to remove oxide scale and rust. This enhances the adhesion of the nitrided layer and results in a uniform surface texture.
