D28 3D Welding Jig and Fixture Table overview

The D28 3D Welding Jig and Fixture Table for Complex Assemblies is a heavy-duty modular hole-system 3D flexible welding platform specially developed for spatial multi-component structural welding. Featuring Φ28mm standard locating holes with a 100×100mm grid distributed on the top surface and four side surfaces, it realizes flexible positioning and clamping in X, Y and Z three-dimensional directions.

Equipped with a complete range of interchangeable modular fixtures and quick locking pins, the platform allows manufacturers to rapidly build custom tooling without time-consuming custom dedicated jigs. Available in plasma-nitrided S355 steel and stress-relieved cast iron configurations, it maintains excellent flatness, structural stability and wear resistance under heavy loads.

Widely matched with manual welding stations and robotic welding cells, this D28 3D fixture table becomes the ideal tool for prototype trial production and mixed low & medium-volume manufacturing of complex assemblies such as chassis, tubular frames and engineering machinery components.

The D28 system welding table supports unlimited modular joining, making it ideal for the assembly of exceptionally long, wide, or complex workpieces (such as trailer main beams and large-scale frames).

  • Precision locating pin holes are pre-drilled along the platform edges; D28 locking pins are used to securely join multiple platform units into a single assembly.
  • Even after joining, the overall flatness error remains tightly controlled at ≤0.15mm/1000mm.
  • Once joined, the hole patterns across the five working surfaces align perfectly, allowing fixtures to be positioned freely across the platforms.
  • Advantage: Customers can purchase in stages—starting with basic units and adding more platforms later as production capacity expands—thereby reducing the burden of a large upfront investment.
Expected Service Life
  • Nitrided steel welding table: 8-12 years under normal, proper use
  • Seasoned cast iron welding table: Over 15 years under proper use
