Recently, there has been a new development in our company's high-power heavy-duty welding auxiliary machine production line. The 400-ton super-large welding rotator has successfully completed the entire machine assembly and structural debugging. The overall structure of the equipment has been welded, the walking support, drive transmission, and hydraulic adjustment modules have all been assembled in place. It is about to enter the factory inspection process.

The 400-ton welding roller frame assembled this time is specially designed for thick-walled pressure vessels, large storage tanks, boiler shells, heavy petrochemical pipelines, and other super-large workpieces. The equipment adopts a split heavy-duty support structure, with the active roller group equipped with a high-power variable frequency drive system, and the supporting wheels are made of high-strength wear-resistant forged steel. It can smoothly support 400-ton-level cylinder workpieces for uniform rotation, ensuring uniform welding speed on both the inner and outer seams, and effectively avoiding industry pain points such as slippage, eccentricity, and uneven weld formation of large heavy workpieces during rotation.
It is equipped with an adaptive height adjustment mechanism, which can adapt to different diameter cylinder workpiece clamping and positioning. It can be combined with submerged arc automatic welding machines for joint operations, or can be combined with welding positioners and welding operation machines to form a complete automated welding workstation system, and is widely used in the manufacturing of petrochemical equipment, nuclear power components, and large heavy pressure vessels.
From the structural cutting, machining of precision parts, to frame welding, pre-installation of transmission mechanisms, and overall assembly, the technical team has followed the assembly process nodes throughout and strictly controlled core technical indicators such as coaxiality, uniformity of support force, and smooth operation. Compared with conventional medium-sized tonnage roller frames, the 400-ton heavy-duty model has made multiple upgrades in the rigidity of the base, the load-bearing shaft system, and anti-overturning design, and can operate stably and continuously at full load for a long time, suitable for large-scale continuous welding production scenarios in heavy industry enterprises.
