Stop wasting time and budget on one-off custom welding jigs. Our D28 Modular Nitrided Welding Table with complete fixture clamping system provides a reusable, high-precision 3D fixturing foundation for all your welding projects. With a 5-sided CNC machined D28 hole pattern, stress-relieved base and durable plasma nitrided surface, the table maintains consistent flatness under repeated clamping and welding heat. Quickly assemble, adjust and lock workpieces using our full set of clamps, locating pins, angle brackets and supports. It is fully interchangeable with international D28 accessories — a long-term reliable solution for manual welding workshops and robotic welding stations.

| Tabletop Material | Available in two primary options — Q355 (S355) low-alloy high-strength steel or HT300 gray cast iron. |
|---|---|
| Tabletop Thickness | Standard 25 mm; heavy-duty versions available in 30 mm and 40 mm. |
| Nitriding Specifications | Hardened layer depth of 0.35–0.5 mm; surface hardness of HV550–900 (typically around HV900). This treatment prevents weld spatter from adhering — spatter can be easily tapped off — and protects the reference surface from scratches. |
| Precision | Standard flatness is ≤0.1 mm/1000 mm; high-precision (Grade 0) versions can reach 0.05 mm/1000 mm (designed for robotic welding). Hole positioning tolerance is ±0.03 to ±0.05 mm. |
| Load Capacity | Each support leg can bear 700–1000 kg; the entire welding table supports a uniformly distributed static load of 3–10 tons, making it suitable for heavy steel structures and construction machinery frames. |
| Dimensions | Standard sizes include 1000×1500, 1200×2400, and 1500×3000 mm; modular configurations for larger total lengths (e.g., 4600 mm) are also supported. |
| Hole Configuration | Features a grid of D28 holes across the top and all four sides. Side holes allow for lateral clamping and the mounting of complex, irregularly shaped workpieces. Holes are chamfered to facilitate the insertion of locking pins. |
| Support Legs | Equipped with adjustable support legs and leveling pads, allowing for precise horizontal alignment. |

- Weld spatter does not easily adhere to the surface, making cleanup simple; unlike coated surfaces, there is no risk of the finish peeling or flaking off.
- Highly wear-resistant — frequent, repeated mounting and removal of fixtures will not cause dents or scratches, ensuring long-term maintenance of reference accuracy.
- Resistant to high temperatures and thermal cycling from welding; highly resistant to rust.
- Features a matte black-gray surface, which facilitates visual measurement and marking.
The D28 tabletop is not merely a solid, thick steel plate; it features an integrated structure with a grid of reinforcing ribs on the underside, designed to withstand heavy loads and resist thermal deformation during welding.
- Steel Plate (Q355/S355) Welding Table: Consists of a thick top plate with welded reinforcing ribs underneath, followed by a stress-relief process for the entire assembly. It is lighter than cast iron, making it easier to transport and lift; however, it offers less vibration damping, and thermal deformation may be more pronounced during continuous, high-current welding.
- Cast Iron (HT300) Welding Table: Features an integrally cast grid structure with wide, thick ribs. It provides superior vibration damping, higher thermal inertia, and minimal thermal deformation.
- Rib Grid Layout: Aligned to a 100 mm grid pattern. The standard rib height is 200 mm (the industry norm), though custom heights of 250 mm or 300 mm are available for increased rigidity.
- Five-Sided Machining: Both the top surface and all four sides are CNC-milled and drilled. The sides feature the same D28 grid-hole pattern, facilitating lateral clamping, the attachment of cantilevered tooling, and the positioning of long workpieces that extend beyond the table's edge. (This is commonly referred to as a "3D" five-sided fixture table, as opposed to a "2D" table, which only features holes on the top surface.)
