D16 nitrided welding table
,anti spatter welding table
,3D welding table easy cleaning
The Anti Spatter D16 Nitrided Welding Table is a reliable, flexible welding base for precision metalwork. Its integral plasma nitriding finish produces a low-wettability surface that resists weld spatter sticking and simplifies daily cleanup. Standard D16 Φ16mm H7 holes on a 50mm grid work seamlessly with all D16 modular clamps and locking pins. Available in 2D or full five-sided 3D structure, the table maintains stable flatness for both manual welding and robotic welding stations, lowering your shop's maintenance workload.

| Base material | Q355 steel or HT300 cast iron (optional) |
|---|---|
| Hole diameter | Φ16mm H7 |
| Hole spacing | 50 mm grid |
| Standard flatness | ≤0.1 mm / 1000 mm; high-precision robotic-grade versions can reach 0.05 mm/m |
| Tabletop thickness | 12 mm |
| Static load capacity | Typically 2–10 tons (depending on structural reinforcement) |
| Surface finish | Matte black (natural color resulting from the nitriding process) |
| Standard dimensions | 800×1200, 1000×1000, 1000×1500, 1200×2400, etc.; supports modular assembly (joining multiple units) and custom sizing |
- Low weld spatter adhesion makes cleaning effortless; no need for daily application of anti-spatter agents.
- The nitrided layer is formed through diffusion-based surface hardening of the base material — it will not peel or flake, ensuring a significantly longer service life.
- Resistant to rust, workshop humidity, and corrosion from welding fumes.
- The modular fixture system is highly versatile, allowing for rapid tooling changes — ideal for small-batch, high-variety production.

- Process temperature: 520–580°C (low-temperature nitriding).
- Case depth: 0.3–0.5 mm.
- Surface hardness: HV 550–900; an ultra-high-hardness version (HV 870) is available upon request (requires 42CrMo mold steel as the substrate; Q355 steel is typically limited to a maximum hardness of approximately HV 750).
- Metallurgical structure: A dense, non-porous surface layer consisting of ε+γ' nitrides. This is not a surface coating, but a modification of the steel itself through diffusion.
- Deformation control: Due to the low-temperature process, thermal deformation is minimal. Components can undergo CNC precision machining prior to nitriding, with a flatness loss of ≤0.02 mm/m.
- Appearance: Matte, dark charcoal-gray, non-reflective finish. Unlike paint, it will not blister, crack, or peel off in flakes.
- Heat resistance: Can withstand temperatures up to 600°C for short periods; the surface is not immediately damaged by contact with molten welding spatter. However, prolonged exposure to high-temperature heat will cause ablation of the nitrided layer.
Once welding spatter has cooled, remove residue using a flat scraper — a copper scraper is preferred, as it is less likely to scratch the nitrided layer — followed by a wire brush and compressed air. The use of an angle grinder for large-area surface grinding is discouraged, as each instance of grinding removes a portion of the nitrided layer.
Yes, they can be used, though nitrided tables do not require frequent application. A light coating can further reduce spatter adhesion; however, any residual oily film may compromise positioning accuracy, so their use should be minimized in automated workstations.
- Do not subject any single point on the welding table to a high-current electric arc for an extended period.
- Do not strike the edges of the table with a hammer or other heavy objects.
- Do not perform cutting operations directly on the table surface (plasma or flame cutting will burn through the nitrided layer, creating permanent pits).
- Do not perform build-up welding (surfacing) on the table surface.
With proper use, the wear-resistant and anti-spatter properties of the nitrided layer can be maintained for 5–8 years. Frequent grinding or exposure to intense heat will shorten the service life.
A: Φ16mm H7 tolerance holes on a standard 50mm × 50mm grid. The inner wall of every positioning hole is nitrided together with the tabletop, which prevents hole wear after frequent locking pin insertion.
A: The 2D version has holes only on the top surface for simple flat clamping. The 3D five-sided table has holes on the top plus four side panels, supporting multi-angle, vertical, and reverse fixturing — ideal for robotic welding stations.
A: Yes. Standard orders come with an inspection report. CMM, SGS, or metallographic test reports are available upon customer request with extra cost and lead time.
A: HS Code: 73269000 / 85159000.
A: 1 set is acceptable. Unit price will be better for bulk orders.
