This 40 ton self-aligning welding rotator is heavy-duty auxiliary welding equipment, composed of one driving unit and one idler unit. It automatically adjusts roller angles to center cylindrical workpieces without manual roller spacing adjustment. With variable frequency speed regulation, it delivers smooth, stable rotation for consistent girth welding quality. It can work with welding manipulators, SAW systems and other automatic welding units for integrated cylinder fabrication.

Workpiece rests on four rollers of the active and passive rotator sets. The self-align rocker mechanism automatically changes roller angles according to cylinder diameter to keep the workpiece on the central axis. The VFD drives synchronous motors and reducers to transfer torque to rollers, turning the cylinder at set linear speed for continuous circumferential welding.
