This 20 Ton Self-Aligning Welding Rotator is heavy-duty automatic auxiliary equipment designed for circumferential welding of large cylinders, tanks, pressure vessels, and thick pipes. Its self-aligning structure automatically adapts to workpieces of different outer diameters without manual roller span adjustment. VFD stepless speed control ensures smooth rotation of heavy workpieces, improves circumferential welding quality, and reduces labor intensity. It is widely used for boilers, large storage tanks, heat exchangers, thick pipes, and large fan cylinder fabrication, making it suitable for factory in-house heavy workpiece production and mass production.
- Self-aligning structure: The roller frame automatically finds center according to workpiece diameter, maintaining a stable wrap angle. This enables fast clamping and saves debugging time during workpiece changeover.
- PU coated rollers: Wear-resistant and anti-slip, these rollers do not damage the workpiece surface. They offer strong heavy load capacity, high temperature resistance, and prevent indentation on thin-wall cylinders.
- VFD stepless speed regulation: Forward and reverse rotation are controllable with stable low-speed running and continuously adjustable speed. Compatible with SAW, MIG, and other welding processes.
- Dual-motor synchronous drive: Provides sufficient heavy torque with no slipping during operation, stable load bearing, and strong anti-eccentric load capability.
- Independent electric control box: Equipped with start/stop, forward/reverse, and speed knob. Handheld remote is optional. Simple operation and easy maintenance.
- Integral base: Stress relief after welding and machining ensures no deformation after long-term heavy load running. CE certification available as an option.
- Customization available: Special voltage, extended base, wireless remote control, explosion-proof configuration, and extra idler sets.

The machine consists of a driving roller unit, an idler roller unit, and an electric control system. After placing the heavy cylindrical workpiece, the self-aligning mechanism automatically adjusts the roller supporting angle to maintain a stable supporting wrap angle. The VFD motor drives the driving rollers, rotating the cylinder by friction force to realize continuous circumferential rotation for circumferential welding operations.
